Guitars
FLASH guitars
were first built in 1993. Great care was invested into the development of the guitars; using models meticulously tested by experts and experienced musicians to achieve the perfect sound. During the development we emphasized the guitars’ comfort, weight and tone.
The uniqueness of FLASH guitars derives from its exquisite design technology, and the graphite fiber composite materials from which they are made. FLASH guitars preserves the traditional sound produced by quality wood instruments that musicians and listeners love, but also solves many problems present in wood instruments.
The advantages of FLASH graphite fiber composite guitars derive from the thousands of micro-fibers present in each millimeter cross-section of the guitar. In comparison, wood contains only a fraction of this amount of fibers. During the production there is complete control over the shape of the micro-fibers, something that is impossible in wood. This contributes to the many advantages of FLASH guitars, including:
Strength:
FLASH guitars are guaranteed for life against breakage because FLASH graphite guitars are uniquely strong – even a serious fall cannot damage the instrument. By contrast, even a small impact can seriously damage a wooden instrument.
Consistency of tune:
One of our favorite experiments is to place a FLASH graphite guitar and a quality wooden guitar side-by-side in a room with extreme temperature or humidity. After some time we check the instruments’ tuning. Owing to a spread coefficient of only 0.0001, FLASH graphite guitars are unaffected by heat, cold and humidity and thus retain their tuning exactly. Whereas, wooden guitars are extremely sensitive to climactic conditions their tuning changes immediately.
Stability over the years:
A FLASH graphite guitar will last a lifetime because it is made from strong, durable materials that will remain stable for many years. The graphite neck and body will always remain like the day it was purchased – guaranteed. By contrast, as wood guitars age, the wood they are made from becomes dry and their tone changes. Such aging can also affect the neck or body of the instrument and will produce uncontrollable results.
Lightweight:
FLASH guitars are much lighter than regular guitars.
A FLASH guitar weighs some 2.5 kilo, about a kilo less than a regular wood electric guitar, and that makes quite a difference when you hang it around your neck, or even when it just rests against you sitting down.
